I made this postcard in July, 2022, to submit to the Compassion event at the American Visionary Museum. Take a look here if you want to know what I am talking about. The cards will be on display in the Sideshow (the shop at the museum) and then for sale starting in September with all proceeds going to the museum.
Excellent idea. (K)
It was nice for my brain for me to do this, it was calming. I like this motif of the lady and the little bird, I have done variations of it in other places, including clay tiles. but each one comes out differently. I also enjoyed it that when I looked on the Cardworks site I can see the post office marks faintly across it, I like it that Philadelphia can be read. So she tells where she comes from!
What a *wonderful* museum! I’d never heard of it, looked up its website, and what a treasure, with a great purpose. Your “Lady and Bird” card is lovely. Thanks so much, Claudia.
You’re welcome. The card was easy to do and made me feel good. And the museum is worth a visit. What a place. Or if not, sign up for their emails as they also do online events.
What a lovely project to participate in. I like your postcard very much and I think it communicates the theme of compassion wonderfully.
