Love the first one in particular, Claudia. So atmospheric and seemingly desolate.
Thank you. I was surprised how the black lines set this landscape into being, I had thought to do more with them, but stopped here when I saw it.
I especially like the first one. The wintry atmosphere is lovely and I think those black mountain faces are really strong and stoic looking.
Thank you. It is interesting to me what a series of lines (not just in this postcard but even in pen and ink drawings) can accomplish.
And the first has those lovely opaque shapes that contrast with the black lines!
Thank you. Yes, I think that is a reason why this looks good, the softness contrast with the hard lines, and the softer colors with the stark black. I do like a good set of contrasting parts in an image, I do!
