Here are a couple of postcards made in January 2022. Pensive people, I think, with a lot on their minds.
I painted on the backgrounds (cardboard cut to size) and then attached the figures, which I had drawn in ink on paper. Then it looks like I splattered some ink on them. Plus some scraping through the paint.

These are always fun. I especially like the green and purple of the first one.
I had made these people a long time ago and never knew what to do with them. Then finally in one of my periodic clean outs I put them into their own environment and I think it worked out well for them, their character was able to come through.

Thank you. These people were drawn on a page a while back and I cut them out (there were others, too) and then lost focus. When I did a cleanout I found them and decided it was long past time to find them a permanent spot. Serendipity happened and finally I feel I have given them some voice.

Thank you. Another version of paper dolls, kind of – I drew the figures and then cut them out to put them elsewhere, like on these postcards. I think it worked out well.
