What a brilliant idea for members. And, lino printing is a great activity to choose for such a mixed group of art lovers. “Impressive effort from the Allentown Art Museum.
I really like this museum for this reason, they aren’t just a collection of objects, you walk in and see, and then you go on your way, but they invite you to participate in the openings and they have other special events (we have done scavenger hunts, etc). In factg we plan to go back next week for Valentine’s Day. So I can see this exhibit again plus do whatever the activities are.
Sounds just what a good museum should be as part of the community.

I’m happy my husband wants to try this, I was certainly surprised, and I think we’ll have fun. I prefer to go to museums such as this one (AAM is one of my favorites) – we are members as I said in the post, because of the interesting exhibits and the chance to do interactive things rather than just walk around and look at the art.
