Honest. A few weeks ago, this photo appeared in the gallery lineup when I was looking over a set of photos I had just taken. I guess I took this one too, I just didn’t know it.
And yet somehow it has an appeal…so I kept it. How often do you see yourself from this angle? And in a pleasingly blurred way so that your faults are washed away? Think about it.
Oh I love this!!! Very expressionistic!!
I think the phone camera is a better photographer on its own without my input, sometimes. I’ve gotten some surprisingly good shots when I didn’t realioze I had clicked the button. !!!
haha all I get with mine is double chins 😂
The blur to me looks like a man
I am reminded by portraits by Giacometti, which I like very much.
The serendipity photo seems to have a lot of unexpected appeal and spark interest, surprises me!
There is something quite Francis Bacon about this selfie, don’t you think?
I am extremely flattered by this comparison.
Peoples like us, We’ve been right here for Years. and that’s a good thing, right. Can I keep you on my blogroll?

Yes, and thank you. Glad to meet you.
Great angle. Perfect juxtaposition of form, light and dark. (K)
Thank you. I think it is just crazy that this is a random photo my phone camera took. I feel like another being, of what kind I do not know, snapped my photo, kind of.
I often feel that way about what I make. Especially looking back at things done long ago. Who did that? Not the me I know.
Yes, You said it perfectly. Not the me I know. Which is encouraging. We are never going to find out everything, there will always be mystery, even inside our heads. Good.
I agree. We are all full of surprises.
Ha Ha. Pleased to meet your blur
A view I am not familiar with ofe me and yet apparently the camera wanted to show it to me!
