Here is another postcard made with stitching. In this one, I sewed some random lines on watercolor paper cut to postcard size. Then I filled in the spaces with pen and ink work.
Working like this gives me two different sides to embellish.
It reminded me of my sketches inspired by sidewalk cracks.

It’s really easy and you can make quite a few cards quickly, then have them around to draw on or whatever you want, when you feel like it.
I got rid of my sewing machine but I have a tiny one packed away somewhere. I’ll keep it in mind when it shows up sometime in the future…
