Love it.
Thank you. I return to this motif often, as I look back at my work over the years, a person raching to the sun – I guess in spite of everything, and while I don’t think I am a cynic I do expect very little from people as a group, individuals, though, there is no predicting, and maybe that is why I continue to hope.
Thanks. I needed to see this.
You are welcome. I feel these things, it helps to paint them. And maybe make them more real even to myself.
It helped me…thanks.
Truly lovely Claudia.
Thank you. I always hope, somehow it keeps on coming back to that, sometimes I have to ask for it, sometimes maybe I can spread it. The painting says all I feel.
Inspiring! Picked up my own brushes this morning for the first time in weeks.
Fantastic. I hope it felt good to you, and that it buoyed you up, I realize in these days that doing things rather than thinking about things is a lot more calming…
It surely is.
I love this painting, and the meaning, great work!
Thank you!
I love your use of colour in this piece. The figure appears to have an aura. There is something reminiscent of Klimt in your use of pattern and shapes too.
Thank you. I felt like the picture should be shimmering around the lady, to show the feeling of hope.
That is really lovely. A lovely sentiment and also interpreted with such hopeful colours.
Thank you. Sometimes feelings find an outlet in the work of the hands, this was one of those times.
Wonderful. Let’s all keep reaching out in hope!
Thank you. Yes, we must keep trying, I think, the trying is sometimes all we have.
