I love the small flock mingling together. Your first bird definitely has an attitude! (the bird) put’s me in mind of a favourite cartoon of mine – will try and find a copy to share).
To make the bird group I just used a bamboo brush and India ink and set the brush on the paper, birds appear! I like the first bird too, don’t know what she is focusing that attitude about, but I think she is loud…
The nest is built to last. No flimsy little cheap thing for that bird! As for the flock of birds, I take the bamboo brush and India ink and just lay the brush on the paper. Voila, birds!

Ho ho!…
I love those Claudia!…
Thank you. I like making bird art. I like birds. Don’t know anything much about them but I like them.
I think your personality must shine through with your birds Claudia!…
I have always thought that in my next life, or some next life, anyway, I would like to be a bird.
That big duck looks quite self-satisfied. (K)
Probably the neighborhood block captain.
I love the nest in the first illustration. It looks very tactile. I really love that charming flock of birds in the second illustration.

It is very effective as a bird creating technique.
Fantastic! I love the border on the first one! It makes the piece pop!
Thank you. It is funny how just a little bit of color can change the whole picture like this.
Yes! It was already an awesome and then BAM – a little pop of color! 🙂
