Fantastic. I’d love to see the results. I do love paint cards for so many reasons, they are infinitely art-useful!
I like the idea of using paint cards for drawing. I used to use them in my classroom for other things, but never thought of drawing.
I got the idea a long time ago from a blog friend – I can’t claim to have invented it. But I have done a boatload of this kind of illustration since then, in the last five years. I love it.

I really like the Spring feel to these illustrations, partly the vibrant greens,of course, but also the way the figures are dressed and the idea that they are outdoors enjoying the weather.
I was reflecting yesterday on how green the grass is becoming and I think these little images came up at a good time – spring and green go together.
