This makes me think of the Creature in Frankenstein’s laboratory. The figure has that soulful look.

Yes. It makes me want to take them right down to the show store and let them pick out whatever they want, as they look bewildered by what is happening.
That reminds me that my older brother was a shoe store salesman in one of his former lives. I haven’t thought about that in years. Funny how the mind works…
In turn your memory brings back the memory of the place where we always bought our school shoes, Family Booterie, in Madison, TN. Buster Brown shoes. Scuffing the toes and trying not to. etc. etc. !
School shoes! Even schools with uniforms don’t seem to include any particular regulations for shoes these days. And how did sweatpants and leggings morph in to school uniforms?
