Well, here are some more moon tiles.

These are all great. The moon has a very different character in each tile that contributes to the feel of each scene. I love the cat going for a moonlit walk and the moon surrounded by glowing orbs.

I am really entranced by moon/sun these days and the underglaze has a consistency that really allows me to make great little or big circles, kind of dripping it, and so I just keep making more, but also I like the feeling of spaciousness each one of these always has, because of the idea of a planet or star so far away, and here we are on earth, but not earthbound.

Thank you. Every time I make one, I find myself thinking of different times I’ve seen the moon, the time of year, the feeling around the night, from childhood on. Kind of a trip down memory lane, I don’t know why this happens with this particular subject.

Thank you. I have lots of memories of being out in moonlight, starting from a child living out in the country and staying outside well after dark, and then as an adult, the moon always reliable, always consistent, and I also just love the pearly color it so often has.

I think we must be soul sisters to the moon, then. Where I grew up you could see the moon, the stars, the deep, dark blue of the night sky.
