Trees With Foliage

I continue my obsession with trees.

I like trees and painting trees and I don’t think I’ll be stopping anytime soon. These things take you where they take you.

These acrylic paintings are all 6″ x 6″ and were done in March, 2017.

      Thank you. I have to say I like those orange ones too. I used to dislike orange and reds and so on, or maybe I should say, like them less, but I have really turned my attitude around recently.

        I’ve followed that path too. I really used to dislike pink in particular, but have come to embrace it in more recent years. Whenever someone asks me my favorite color I say tie dye. I hate to pick just one when they are all so wonderful, especially all together!

    I like them being so simple and their shapes too. I am also drawn to trees. Last year I had been drawing a tree and it turned into an intense dream at night… Tress are amazing!

      Yes, I agree. I like to run or hike in the woods and of course, you see – trees. And as time passed I realized more and more how interesting they are, and beautiful.
